Keith grew up in a working-class home in the Chicago suburbs. His father worked 60-80 hours a week to keep food on the table and his mother worked to provide health insurance for Keith and his siblings. He was raised by a supportive village of family, friends and community, he was educated in public schools, and he was instilled with the values of hard work, determination, and service to others.

Upon moving to Indianapolis in 2013, Keith’s community involvement began with gathering petition signatures and going door-to-door talking to voters. This developed into a community organizing position in Washington Township during 2018, and now he’s taken the step toward public service by running for the Indianapolis City-County Council.

Keith believes that District Two deserves a leader who understands the value of hard work, is dedicated to the entire district, and is energized to get things done.
